FitFlop Due Style Challenge (Plus – WIN a pair)

Let me introduce you to the Due – a leather, ballet flat style addition to the FitFlop range of shoes. Available in navy blue, black or cherry, the Due incorporates a “Biomimetix™ midsole” for an ergonomic and comfortable fit.

When someone throws a shoe challenge my way, what can I say – there is only one answer…yes! The test was to road test a pair of Dues in a colour of choice (this time in black) to discover just how versatile the shoes could be.

My gorgeous sister, H, became involved in the challenge and ended up as the my model for the day. We had some fun and lots of giggles (perhaps due to my less than desirable photography skills and a range of funny poses), and after a few outfit changes we chose our favourites.

On first impressions these may look a little bit like a “work shoe” which they would be ideal for (H says they feel a bit like slippers on your feet) but after mixing and matching you will soon discover they can be worn with just about anything. Dress up or down…and be comfortable the whole time!

Look 1: Dress

These are the Dues with a cute dress, and comes complete with a jumping in the air pose – I told you we were having fun:

And a more serious, relaxing shot – because we can’t all be jumping beans:

Look 2: Jeans

We all have jeans in our cupboard and a good pair of shoes will work with them:

And H declares her love for the brand:

Look 3: Office

This was quite funny dressing H in businesswear as she doesn’t actually work in an office. The Dues would go with a suit or even a skirt.

  1. I’d love to win a pair of these great shoes. I’d wake with excitement every day knowing that my feet would be comfy on the long walk to the train station and I’d know exactly what I wanted to accomplish daily! I’d laugh louder, dance longer and live more extraordinarily than the day before (both at work and at play) thanks to Fitflop Due’s ergonomically engineered Biomimetix™ midsole, and it’s uber-cushioning under foot!

  2. I would love these shoes – stylish and comfy don’t usually come together but these sound great! I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome so when I do walk/go out it’s really tiring for me so I’d wear these shoes with everything! I’d choose the black ones because it’s so versatile and could go with so many different types of outfits, but my general style is ballet flats style shoes (like these but less comfy!) and bohemian/gypsy tops, skirts and dresses. Style and comfort and shoes = perfection! I’d really <3 love these! xo

  3. The question isn’t what would I wear my fitflops with for me, But rather when would I take them off they look so comfy

  4. My brightly coloured summer dress , how funky and comfortable these flip flops are, are feel like dancing 🙂

  5. The Due shoes obviously go with virtually any outfit, thanks H for all the modelling. I’d wear them with whatever casual outfit for day I’m in and loving it

  6. As I walk Miss 8 to school everyday I need some comfy shoes so I would be wearing these with jeans, nice pants, long shorts, 3/4 pants, dresses, skirts.
I guess it would be only limited by whats in my wardrobe. I would think that I’m not going to be wearing them with a really formal dress but even that may depend on how long the dress is.
Really it all depends on how comfy they are. If they are as comfy as slippers like you say then I’ll probably even be wearing them with my pyjamas. 😉 hehehe

  7. These shoes look great for travelling. Classy enough for international airports and hotels, yet comfortable enough that you don’t want to take them off. I think I could wear them with anything except evening wear. I want them!!

  8. I would love to wear these comforty shoes to work as I stand on my feet for long periods of time. They would help bring more comfort and love to my feet.

  9. I have had numerous operations on my knee and iand suffer from chronic pain,so maybe these fit flop ballet shoes would be great to wear with jeans for winter, being comfortable and chic at the same time.

  10. With a recent summons for jury duty next month and a wardrobe full of thongs, these FitFlop Dues would certainly see me strutting my stuff in the court room in a more socially (and legally??) acceptable footwear. Might be a good reason to shop for some matching “business” attire so I really look the part – gosh, they might even mistake me for one of the lawyers! What a difference a paif of FitFlops Due can make!

  11. These sound like heaven! Alas, gone are the days of wearing my stilettos all day, every day, Now, probably as a result of doing just that, I have a “crook back” and spurs to contend with. It would be lovely to have a pair of comfortable and good looking shoes to wear around the office, as I’m on my feet as much as off them.

  12. I’d wear them with my work clothes! I’m a primary school teacher and it’s hard to find comfy supportive shoes to be in all day!

  13. Oh how my feet need a treat,
From racing after kids on the playground beat.
My FitFlop Due shoes I would wear,
To dress up my jeans so the other mums would stare,
At my glorious feet instead of my t-shirt and stain,
Caused by bubba as we raced out the door once again,
Some style and class they would also bring,
To my trusty work look of fitted dress, jacket and rings.
While the wedge would give me some much needed height,
Without losing any comfort and ensuring I would never look a fright.

    Subscribed and like on FB!

  16. I had fitflop thongs which felt great but ..don’t laugh they were too high for me. I just cannot wear any shoe unless they are flat.
I mostly wear 3/4 pants or jeans and when I have to wear on a rare occasion a skirt or dress….it is so hard to find something dressy without a heel. The fitflop looks so smart and I see they look classy whether dressing up or just everyday wear. Look great.

  17. I have plantar fasciitis and have been recommended by the doctor to wear shoes with slightly raised heels. These are extremely hard to come by as most are flat or way too high. I would wear the Due shoes everywhere to cushion my feet and give them some loving, showing them how much I care.

  18. I’d wear them on the plane for my honeymoon! With these shoes, I will probably get an upgrade, all the while remaining comfortable 😉

  19. Black Due ballet flats with ankle length slim fitting jeans and a white blouse, reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn in “Roman Holiday”. I may not be as chic as Audrey but at least my feet will look the part.

  20. There are no rules with this versatile shoe. Jeans, shorts, skirts and dresses too. Great for all seasons, perfect in black, they would be the most worn shoes on my rack.

  21. Well, I have just started a TAFE course, and they expect me to wear work clothes, I would be wearing them to TAFE with simple black pants and a different top, they are practical/suitable, exactly what i need!! Love it!

  23. I really would wear these FitFlops with anything! They look comfortable enough to wear with jeans on a trip to the shops, yet stylish enough to wear with a beautiful dress when going out to dinner. I love versatile shoes that you can get lots of use out of!

  24. I would wear their comfort to work to give my feet some tlc on night shifts taking 000 calls – sitting for 12 hours wreaks havoc with my feet if they are in tight shoes, especially in the evening hours.

  25. When I’ve finished travelling down the aisle for my wedding this autumn, I would replace my gorgeous (but high) shoes with the FitFlop Dues. They will be perfect for when I’m still rocking the night away with my new husband (on the dance floor I mean!).

  26. I am on my feet a lot, running after the kids all day and then rehearsing in musicals most nights! I would love a pair of shoes that are suitable for both, while being comfortable and chic! So FitFlop Due could carry me effortlessly from one activity to another with a pair of capris and t-shirt 🙂

  27. I’d wear the black ones with everything – i have so much trouble getting shoes that are comfortable and fit and i wear them out so quick these look amazing

  28. My feet are drooling at the thought of these FitFlops. Classy, versatile, and comfy – the ideal every day shoe. I could pair them with skirts, jeans, and everything in between. That’s the beauty of them.

  29. I’d wear them with my dark wash skinny jeans, my favorite grey top with lacey arms and my hair up. Perfect for a trip to the local pub with hubby.

  30. I’d love to wear these shoes to work! I’d be the envy of my colleagues, and they’d be great for my feet; comfy doing a 10 hour shift!

  34. Every day for kindergarten pick up so I could fit in with the trend looking like a gorgeous funky mother whilst having the comfort of mum shoes, what bliss.

  35. I would love a pair I really need a classy, fashionable,
and most of all comfortable pair of shoes. I would
wear them with mostly work wear but also with my
    favourite pair of jeans.

  36. I’d wear these with a onesie! Because stylish shoes like these can give even the wackiest outfits some cool points.

  37. I’s wear them for just about anything! I stand 5 feet inches tall while my partner 6 footer . won’t be too short and he could easily reach my hand as he always holds mine everytime we walk ^_^

  38. They look so comfy – just what my feet need after a week in work boots (yes, I do have to wear them. I work in a factory). Would love to win a pair, Thank you 🙂

  39. I would wear the FitFlop Due shoes all day, they look so comfortable and stylish that that would go with anything i wear.

  40. I’d team them up with comfy slacks or a casual dress to give me ‘bounce’ wherever I go.
I’d wear them on Probus trips and advertise their comfort and style they’d always be on prominent show.
