Most of us would like our legs to be more toned, and by wearing a pair of FitFlops you can make your pins and bottom muscles work that little bit harder as you walk. The secret to the shoes success is the Microwobbleboard™ midsole which “can help increase the time that your muscles are engaged every single time you take a step.”
I’ve been wearing the FitFlop shoes in Rokkit (Silver Nova – pictured) which are part of their summer collection (they come in all different styles and you definitely aren’t limited to sneakers!)
These shoes go with almost anything with their crystal beads and soft leather upper. I really expected them to feel like a casual, work out shoe so I was pleasantly surprised how versatile they are.
It really helps if you walk at a quick pace, if you are strolling around the shopping centre you can’t expect to feel the workout. That being said, these are extremely comfortable and the soul feels supportive so you will want to wear them whether you want the toning benefits or not. There has also been plenty of positive customer feedback as the way these shoes are designed they can potentially help with things like aching knees and correcting foot posture.
There is good reason why the FitFlop brand has sold over 10 million pairs of shoes, they are comfortable, good for your soles and give you a workout while you walk. Even though there are cheaper alternatives out there, in all honesty I think these are worth the investment. The brand has done substantial research to make sure they tick all the boxes, and I found the sizing to be accurate too.
Will I continue to wear my Rokkit FitFlops? The answer is a big fat yes, (or a skinny yes once my legs are toned!) and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for winter 2012.
The Rokkits range come in Silver Nova, Bronze Ore and Black Diamond, in U.S. sizes from 5 – 11. Each pair are $159.95. For full stockist details and more information please visit www.fitflop.com.au or call 02 9939 0200.
