Real Style: Sophie Falkiner

Sophie Falkiner is a well known face in Australia, with an exciting career involving fashion, beauty, writing and television. As a current ambassador for Skechers shoes, she is sure to have a cool sense of style and we we lucky enough to quiz her on what she would wear on a typical day…

Tell us a little bit about us and your personal style.

I would describe my personal style as classic. I tend to invest in tailored pieces that don’t date and then buy some cheaper more fashion forward pieces to team it with, so my look is still current. Shoes have to be well made, fashionable and on-trend, which is why I’m in love with all my Skechers shoes!

Where would you wear this and why does it work for you?

I would wear this to a girls lunch, business meeting or even on a shopping expedition. I like it because I feel polished with the tailoring of the jacket, streamlined because of the black skinny jeans and fresh with the pop of colour. Also, the shoes are fab! They give you the height (that I love) without any of the pain with the comfy hidden wedge. So they are win win!

Explain each piece of clothing, how much and where you got it.

My jeans are Bettina Liano and are roughly $200, the jacket is from Zara and retails at $145, my fluoro tank is Sass and Bide and is $180 and my SKCH + 3 – Raise the Bar wedges are $119.95 from Skechers. Finally, my necklace is from Diva and I picked it up for $18 – bargain!

Tell us about Skechers.

I am a very proud ambassador for Skechers! I really believe in everything they stand for – quality, comfort, affordability and not to mention fashion with great colours. They literally have a shoe for every situation. Whether it is the gym, school pick up, a lunch with friends or a dinner out with my husband. My whole family wears Skechers and the kids especially love their light up styles. Currently, I am loving the Skechers GOwalk. They are like comfy pj’s for your feet, yet they still look modern and fashionable.
