Johanna Johnson is renowned for her designs, their quality and their craftmanship. The launch of her Black Label sees all of those features available at a more modest price.
The Black Label is a fashion forward collection of bridal, debutant and event gowns available from the Sydney flagship store and online.
Each piece is handmade in Australia and the collection offers a wide range from delicate silk camisoles with knee length tulle skirts to heavy silk floor length gowns.
Luxury lifestyle pieces start from AUD $580 and exclusive bridal gowns range from AUD $1000-$2500. Gowns are available in traditional bridal colours as well as exclusive colours suited to red carpets, formal events and debutant balls.
Johanna’s designs are sought after across the world by A-listers which include Madonna, P!nk, Christina Hendricks, Meryl Streep and European Royalty. The team of craftsmen creating these red carpet gowns are the same craftsmen creating the Black Label pieces and allowing every fashion budget a taste of red carpet luxury.
Johanna’s talents aren’t limited to design, she also created and directed the Black Label film which was shot in Melbourne. Scott Kingman, of Melbourne band ‘The Alternative’, shot, edited and produced the film in addition to co-writing and producing ‘Don’t Dance’, the song the film is set to.
The Black Label collection can be found, and pre-ordered at Johanna Johnson.
My blurb went missing… so now I have to bring you a new one. One that is a little broader too.
I devour books, vampires and supernatural creatures are my genre of choice but over the past couple of years I have broadened my horizons considerably.
I inhale music, hair metal that satisfies my inner bogan is where my musical passion lies, but again I’ve been exposed to lots of different music I wouldn’t normally listen to and have broadened those horizons also.
In a nutshell – I love to write! I love interacting with a diverse range of artists to bring you interviews.
Perhaps we were perfect before – I LOVE WORDS! Reading, writing, speaking, listening – if it’s got words I’m there!
