There aren’t many things I like about winter, but one thing I do look forward to is being able to wear boots! DUO Boots are a company that offer beautiful shoes, including a range of knee high boots which are custom made to fit your calves.
I recently had the pleasure of shopping at the DUO online store, and my pick this season is the Beaumont Knee High Boots in black (also available in tan). Every girl deserves a quality pair of black leather boots, they are so versatile and can be worn with skirts, tights, leggings or any other winter warmer that takes your fancy. These shoes have a little bit of heel but not too much, and are made from genuine leather.
What makes DUO boots that extra bit special is that they are tailored to fit YOU. You choose your shoe size and your calf measurement and what you end up is a pair of boots which are comfortable with a perfect fit. I have been wearing mine everywhere and Jack Frost is only just beginning his work, and they instantly felt like home with their cushioned insoles (no sore toes).
It is certainly worth investing in a pair of DUO Boots, the shoes are high quality and if you care for them properly they will have a long life span.
If you are not sure which boots are right for you, you can view this guide on Choosing the Right Boots for Your Body Shape.
The store offers free worldwide delivery and a large variety of shoes and boots.
Because DUO are such an amazing brand, they are offering one lucky Beauty and Lace reader a chance to win a pair of boots up to the value of £270GBP / $415AUD. Hi, I’m Anna the Editor of Beauty and Lace.

Perfect for the cooler weather,
Love black boots made from leather,
So many styles it’s hard to pick,
The Carvel Boots get a big tick,
I’d wear them with jeans and blouses,
Dresses, tops, skirts or trousers!
Love the Flore boots with their cute little buckles. I’d wear the tan one with cords and a plaid shirt, the brown one with leather look track pants and a deep orange blazer, and the black one with an emerald green slinky side gathered skirt and a silk golden coloured blouse.
I’d love to own the Gable boots I’d where them with most things in my wardrobe, be it work, for coffee or a casual dinner.
I love the Neva boots in Tan. I only own black boots so would love the tan to go with my dresses and also they’d look great with my jeans too. I love the heels on the Neva, a nice height and thickness.
I really like the look of the Malmo Black Leather Fitted or the Carvel in black. I have an inflammatory condition that makes wearing high heels virtually impossible so I’m a flats girl all the way. I’d wear these boots with bright coloured tights and a trenchcoat (another excuse to go shopping) or with some jeans and my red leather jacket. My hubby and I head to London in August, and I could see me wearing these all through our trip…including the flights!

After losing a stack of weight I’d team a pair of black full length Beaumont’s with a short black corduroy skirt and boho-chic floaty silk blouse. Is that what “choosing the right boots for your body shape” means? LOL
I’d choose the AMORA Black Fitted Knee High Boots! – They look so comfortable so at work and commuting, there’d be no need for sneakers as I have found DUO footwear genius! Duo’s boots look like they have great walkability, combining comfort, style and performance which would ensure my feet felt fresh and happy all day long!
It would enable me to take my fashion look from daytime casual, to office professional, to party perfect! These would go great with a little black or floral, knee length dress or even skinny jeans and a casual jacket for a more urban fresh look!

I love the Amora boots – having a wider calf it is almost impossible to find comfortable boots which look good. These boots are so stylish I can imagine wearing them to the office and also casual with jeans on the weekend

I would serve delicious Italian cakes that my mum makes
I would choose the LAKOTA for my Mum because I know she’d love them! She would team it with her skinny jeans and leather jacket.
I love the Beech slim calve boots, already having a toddler keeps me active so I can certainly stride in these babies with a dress through the puddles as I chase him through Nanna’s farm
I’d love to win Tamora boots in tan. I’d wear them with my trusty faded tight levi’s and a leather bomber jacket with a funky scarf.
I really love the classic style of the Lazare Black boots because they are taller and have a unique trim! I would wear them with my knee length winter black and white jersey dress for a funky outfit

I would love the NEVA boots in black! Stunning in their simplicity, stylish, appropriate for work or play, and would go with absolutely anything!
I would choose the Beaumont Knee High Boots in black. Reasons for this are,
1. they are super sexy,
2. my old pair of knee highs died last year, and
3.with all the running I do I am finding it hard to get a boot to fit my calf muscle.
Now must sahre with my other running buddies as we are all finding the same problem, but not anymore!
Laurel Black Leather boots – stylish and elegant, would look amazing with my wardrobe, love the heels and the curve toe-line.
I am Absolutely In Love with the Bonita Boots these would make a Perfect Addition to my Winter Wardrobe to wear with Cute Trenches and Jeans

Can’t wait to be free from the brace…

Laurel Black fitted knee high boots will be paired with Black Skinny Jeans and a an oversized white cable knit jumper to ensure I’m warm and stylish over the winter season.
I love the Bonita black ankle boots. I would wear them with a great pair of black jeans and a leather jacket – so casual and so dressy.
Love the Raven Black Ankle Boots. I would wear them with a ladylike floral dress and Leather Jacket.
Nevada boots with blue jeans and white shirt. Simple and classic.
The Carvel tan fitted mid length are absolutely divine. I prefer the mid length for more options of mixing and matching – especially with cute leg warmers popping out the top!!
I would wear these with jeans, leggings and cute dresses, leggings and jumpers – because if you are wearing cute boots it doesn’t reallllly matter whats on top!!
Arizona would be my first choice. Slimming for those solid calf muscles but still sleek, slender and omg sexy.
Arizona would be my first choice. So slimming, great for those strong calf muscles. Slender, smooth and omg sexy. Would wear them for my man with a hot bustier and some fishnets just to tease.
I absolutely L♥VE the Sisika Black Fitted Knee High Ladies Boots in Black, actually they only come in black! And i would were them with my skinny jeans and Leather jacket!!! Perfect!!!!
I died a little when I saw the NEVA boots in Tan! They are absolutely amazing and what I have been looking for to wear with my shirt dresses and tunics this winter.
Brindisi – id wear it with my new woolen mid thigh high dress to add to my winter warmth outfit
I would choose the Beaumont Knee High Boots in black. I need new boots because my last pair of boots have holes in the bottom where I’ve worn the heels down and it defeats the purpose of wearing boots when you have squelchy feet! Obviously I wear my boots to the death and I wear them with EVERYTHING! even when I’m in my pj’s at home watching tv to keep my feet warm 😀 I’ll give the Beaumont boots a good home!
The Flore tan books are my faves, i would wear them with my cream leather skirt, a black silk top and long brown vest, with a big black leather belt.
I choose Black Raven. I love ankle boots, they are great with dresses. I’d pair these boots with midi dress.

Tucson in Taupe are best,
more versatile than the rest,
with skirts and jeans,
I’d wear them to be seen.

I have my eye on the black Malmo wide calf boots.

HAVING NOT OWNED A PAIR OF BOOTS SINCE MY LATE TEENS (I’m 50 this year), ANY OF THESE WOULD BE WONDERFUL TO OWN, BUT THE BLACK ‘INCA’ ANKLE BOOTS DEFINITELY CAUGHT MY EYE.
AS TO WHAT TO WEAR THEM WITH, WELL, SINCE THE BOOTS THEMSELVES WOULD BE SUCH AN AUSPICIOUS OCCASION, I THINK I MIGHT JUST NEED TO BUY A NEW OUTFIT TAILORED EXACTLY TO COMPLIMENT THE BOOTS!!
Wonderful to see classic boots that cater for those of us that have a wide calf.
The Beaumont would be my ideal boot, classic styling and beautiful colour, these would be perfect for wearing to work with a lovely skirt but also just as suited for my Sunday morning coffee with my girls and my mum. Perfect all rounder.
the Florence- classic black boots that could be worn with jeans, dresses or skirts to make a subtle statement and keep toes warm in winter. They have a timeless look to be worn year after year, and for me would look stunning paired with jeans, and a cobalt sweater.
