This summer season sees Aussie brand Souls Massage Thongs celebrate their 10th anniversary. This fab and funky footwear has been around for 10 years and I’m only just discovering it now…that’s disappointing!
To celebrate the anniversary Souls Massage Thongs are releasing a brand new range of patterns, styles and vibrant colours to add to the existing range. I can’t wait to check them out!
I have been wearing a pretty pink pair around for a week and they are ultra comfy, once you get used to them; once the warm weather really rolls in I will be hard pressed to drag my feet out of these and into real shoes.
The foot-bed of Souls Massage Thongs mould to your feet as you walk and the therapeutic massage ‘bubbles’ act as pressure points to massage your feet and stimulate blood flow with every step. I found when I first started wearing them that the pressure points were a bit strong, I like to start soft and work my way up but that really isn’t possible in these circumstances.
The depth of the pressure is determined by the amount of weight loaded onto the footbed so the best you can hope for is to try and walk lightly. There is no real concern there though because within minutes you get used to it and start to feel the relief of massaged feet and increased circulation.
One thing I can tell you for sure is that if I’m going out for an evening and wearing heels I will be sure to have my Souls Massage Thongs somewhere close by so that the very next day I can slide them on and rejuvenate my poor painful feet with their soothing relaxation.
Souls Massage Thongs are made for men, women and children in a variety of styles and colours and they have designed a range of flat thongs that they have named ‘Tribal’ to ensure that there is something to suit everyone!
The new Souls range of massage thongs is due to be released this September and it is sure to be exciting. The new range will incorporate the latest colour styles for the original massage thong as well as the new season styles for the Souls Tribal range. But that’s not the exciting part… to celebrate their 10 year milestone Souls are releasing a brand new massage style thong.
The team at Souls have discovered over the years that some feet are more sensitive than others and require a different massage technique, so the new design is softer and the bubbles less elevated so that those with more sensitive feet can still become a part of the Souls revolution.
Souls Massage Thongs were aptly named because not only are they fabulous for your feet but they are also good for the soul, in their commitment to eco-friendly manufacturing. All Souls Massage Thongs are made from an EVA foam and natural rubber combination and they are both non-toxic and environmentally friendly materials.
Souls are a company very aware of their social responsibility and they utilise sustainable business practices as much as possible. The manufacturing facility is a REACH certified manufacturer which means they don’t use child labour and they have to abide by strict European standards of manufacture. All of the Souls thongs are made from up to 20% recycled material and any off cuts created during production are recycled in the onsite recycling plant so that they can go on to make more thongs and other rubber type products.
Good for your feet, good for your soul, good for your environment and therefore good for the future and your children. What more could you possibly ask…. oh, of course… and they’re good for your wallet!
Souls Massage Thongs are available starting at $14.95 for children’s sizes, $17.95 for the original massage thongs and $19.95 for Tribals.

My blurb went missing… so now I have to bring you a new one. One that is a little broader too.
I devour books, vampires and supernatural creatures are my genre of choice but over the past couple of years I have broadened my horizons considerably.
I inhale music, hair metal that satisfies my inner bogan is where my musical passion lies, but again I’ve been exposed to lots of different music I wouldn’t normally listen to and have broadened those horizons also.
In a nutshell – I love to write! I love interacting with a diverse range of artists to bring you interviews.
Perhaps we were perfect before – I LOVE WORDS! Reading, writing, speaking, listening – if it’s got words I’m there!
