We all know that Peter Alexander Sleepwear is a favourite in Australian bedrooms, as well as bedrooms across the world. There are plans in place to expand the brand, reach a new audience and spread the love.
Peter Alexander Sleepwear has been going strong for over 25 years, they have over 50 stores across Australia and New Zealand and now they are looking to set up shop in Myer stores across the country as well. It’s a far cry from the one man brand that started on a living room table to the instantly recognisable international brand that has captured the attention of celebrities such as Pink, Hugh Jackman, Kylie Minogue, Lady Gaga, the Hilton Sisters, Nicole Kidman, Naomi Watts and Miranda Kerr.
February 2014 will see Peter Alexander Sleepwear launch into Myer stores across the country. There will be 10 Myer stores with womenswear departments boasting the Peter Alexander brand and I know you are itching to find out which ones because otherwise how else will you get Peter Alexander Sleepwear into your bedroom. They will be: Melbourne, Sydney, Bondi, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Carindale, Maroochydore, Karrinyup and Miranda. Menswear and Childrenswear departments will add the brand to their range in 15 Myer stores across the country.
Peter Alexander Sleepwear is fun and funky, affordable, comfortable and extremely desirable. This is sleepwear that doubles beautifully as leisure wear and its addition to the Myer range of brands is sure to do wonderful things for both parties. As you can see from the quotes below, the General Managers agree.
Group General Manager of Peter Alexander Sleepwear, Judy Coomber, said “Peter and I are delighted to have signed with Myer. We have significant plans for the growth of the brand and believe Myer is the perfect fit for us. We have a broad customer following while still being aspirational. We look forward to partnering with Australia’s largest department store”.
“Securing this significant brand further establishes Myer as the premier destination for fashion and lifestyle brands in
Australia,” Myer Executive General Manager of Merchandise, Adam Stapleton said.
The agreements between Myer and Peter Alexander Sleepwear differ a little between womenswear and the menswear and childrenswear departments. This will allow the brand to ensure that in their womenswear departments customers will be treated to a true Peter Alexander experience in the Myer store.
Will a move to Myer make you more likely to bring Peter Alexander Sleepwear into your bedroom?
