Review: DUO Boots (Plus – WIN a Pair!)

There aren’t many things I like about winter, but one thing I do look forward to is being able to wear boots! DUO Boots are a company that offer beautiful shoes, including a range of knee high boots which are custom made to fit your calves.

I recently had the pleasure of shopping at the DUO online store, and my pick this season is the Beaumont Knee High Boots in black (also available in tan). Every girl deserves a quality pair of black leather boots, they are so versatile and can be worn with skirts, tights, leggings or any other winter warmer that takes your fancy. These shoes have a little bit of heel but not too much, and are made from genuine leather.

What makes DUO boots that extra bit special is that they are tailored to fit YOU. You choose your shoe size and your calf measurement and what you end up is a pair of boots which are comfortable with a perfect fit. I have been wearing mine everywhere and Jack Frost is only just beginning his work, and they instantly felt like home with their cushioned insoles (no sore toes).

It is certainly worth investing in a pair of DUO Boots, the shoes are high quality and if you care for them properly they will have a long life span.

If you are not sure which boots are right for you, you can view this guide on Choosing the Right Boots for Your Body Shape.

The store offers free worldwide delivery and a large variety of shoes and boots.

Because DUO are such an amazing brand, they are offering one lucky Beauty and Lace reader a chance to win a pair of boots up to the value of £270GBP / $415AUD. For your chance to win, visit www.duoboots.com and tell us in the comments section below which pair you would most like to win and what you would wear them with.

  2. I would select the Avron boots to wear with my maternity dresses and leggings! Being flat, they’d be super comfy, but having the added height of the boot means I could get the on myself in the mornings without needing hubby to help me!!

  3. Tamora I have a cool black skirt, white and grey striped satin shirt, my warm woollen coat for when its extra cold and Tamora boots would be a cool winter outfit. I think I could generate a bit of envy with other mums at school. hehe. Would be nice to have them envious of me for a change. 😉

Being tall it is hard finding a stylish boot with a low heel…
    But, these are perfect.
They are the sort of boot I could wear with anything, anywhere.
They are so versatile….. they can be dressed up or down.
A girl has to be warm and comfy in winter…and nothing better than being in something everyone else wants…:D

  19. oh my goodness, how are you supposed to choose! i do love the Beech black knee highs though, and I think that I would probably wear them with everything- if they are as comfy as they say, I would even wear them to bed!

  22. I so love these boots because I always have problems as most boots do not fit my calves and seem to swim around my ankles. On looking at all the ones available I feel that the Brindisi, Flore or Bonita would be my favourite. I so love black leather boots over my jeans or even just wearing leggings with a soft wooly jumper. I prefer comfort to style.
I’ve shared on facebook for my friends to try and win. Good luck to the winner…..you will have won a great prize.

  27. The black Flore knee high boots , are gorgeous. Wearing with my skinny jeans and crisp white shirt, wool cardigan for winter nights.

  28. Lakota chessnut for sure, great colour, sweet style, they’ll even make my shaped calves look good for sure!

  29. Tamora – I can never wear long boots because my calves are too “shapely” – these are “wide calf” boots! I could even wear them OVER my jeans! Perfect! 🙂

  30. I just got myself a long cardigan type wollen dress and im sure the Neva Boots would look great. And it wouldnt matter if they were Black of Brown as the dress has both tones in it. And also have a few other long to mid leangth dresses, that i would also wear with great think tights, and these amazing boots would really set any of my outfits off and making them look really great.
